COAS – Chief Of Army Staff, the highest rank in the Pakistan Army. A four star ranked officer is appointed by senior four star ranked officer, confirmed by President of Pakistan. COAS has the most power in the country because of military laws. COAS is appointed for 3 years and operates all matters from Army GHQ.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa is the current and 16th COAS of Pakistan.
